2009-01-06 Sedona

We let ourselves out in the morning and started our drive up to Sedona. We had to stop by REI to get tubes since we went through pretty much all of our spares already and we each had a flat tire from the ride the day before. We got our tubes and looked around the REI, and then had lunch at In and Out burger (Third time this trip). We got our fries extra crispy and that made them even better. We had our lunch with our Fritz diet root beer and it was awesome. Skye raves about it and I can see why, it’s even better than Barq’s haha.

We get to Sedona and fix our tires and get changed. We go out for a short bike ride in the crazy red rock. Really crazy scenery.

These pictures really came out like crap, I’ll have to mess with them and take new pictures tomorrow.

After riding we drove up to Flagstaff because the hotels are a lot cheaper. We found some cheap mexican, $30 with tip and drinks AND Steve’s margarita.

We went back to the hotel and here I sit, I just wrote up the last 3.5 days and man I’m pooped and sick of typing. Nights.

  3. You literally rode right by my Aunt and Uncle’s place. They live on the south side of South Mountain. I’ve hiked up that trail to that old gazebo up on the hill several times in the past year. Extremely steep stuff!

  4. You sissies, that cactus was just trying to be your friend. Next time pack some needlenose pliers and don’t try to pull them out with your hand or you will end up with 2 hands full of cactus. :)

Thanks for calling when you were in town!! :-(
