Another rally in the books. Great variety of pictures from this event. Dave and I grabbed some nice shots from a whole slew of locations.
Take a look at our highlights gallery, and contact me at email@example.com if you are interested in your picture set. $100 flat for all your images, $50 for Saturday only if you didn’t compete on Sunday, or you can buy them individually directly from the website.
Or if you are interested, all of my pictures are online, and a selection of Dave’s also. They are organized by Special Stage # here:
The cold put a hamper on our typical rally antics, so for this rally there will just be the pictures.
In short, Dave and I went up to the rally on Friday morning, and my Wife Maria and my friend Tim joined us on Saturday morning

For the first time in as long as I can remember the weather was actually awesome for Rally New York. We took it easy this time and hung around on Friday at the Rally Village. Just Dave, myself, and my Wife were in our crew.

This time I have a “best of” gallery if you want to just check out the best shots from the weekend. It’s at least one of each car from each stage I was at.
Here’s some of my favorites (click to enter)
Attention racers, want all the pictures of your car from the weekend? Paypal $60 to firstname.lastname@example.org or shoot me an email there for my contact information. I’ll then individually edit and adjust all of the pictures and make them available for download in full size.
One again we are back in beautiful Sullivan County NY for another Rally New York event. The spring rally is a completely tarmac event held on two familiar stages and one new stage.
International Rally New York 2009 started off for me unlike any other rally I’ll ever attend. I actually got married the previous Sunday and my new wife and I were on a short vacation up in Newport Rhode Island. Thursday night we departed Rhode Island and headed down to rally HQ at the Villa Roma resort where we would conclude our honeymoon.

Not a terrific amount to write up about this event. It was supposed to be a 6 stage rally, consisting of 6 passes on the same road with a service after stage 3. Due to a wreck on stage 1, the event was cancelled. I managed to get a few decent shots of the first half of the field on the first stage but that was about it. The event organizer Ivan was entered in the race and I was excited to be able to give him a small something (my pictures) for all his hard work. Unfortunately he was behind the wreck and I never got a chance to see him.

Everyone at the event was very nice and the situation was handled flawlessly (besides the stuck fire truck).
We did manage to grab pizza at a local pizza place and it was actually really good pizza, and we were many many miles away from New York City
